Friends of YIELD
It started with a small family.
Monica, Fasika, and their son Augustine began with a simple practice: sharing their birthdays and holidays with street children and orphans. Not a big project. Just faithful accompaniment.
They were the first three.
Then three friends from France joined.
One January, Father Hervé, Paul, and Amélie traveled from La Roche-sur-Foron to visit the family in Wolaita Sodo.
They listened to the dream. Then they said, "We will help your project."
That was the moment we first dared to think of establishing a local NGO.
From three to seven.
The French friends each began sponsoring one child through the Just One Meal initiative. Then Paul's father joined. Then another. Now we are seven friends—helping seven children eat, stay in school, and keep their dignity.
